The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on April 21, 2026, issued a circular regarding the launch of the Integrated Payment System (IPS) for processing final payments to exam centres and functionaries for the 2026 Board Examinations. The system has been made live to enable data submission and freezing.
The Board has revised the rates for remuneration, conveyance, refreshments, and other related expenses, which are applicable for the 2026 examinations. Accordingly, the IPS Centre Final 2026 portal has been developed incorporating these revised rates. Schools are required to complete data entry, verify bank account details, and ensure that Principals personally review and freeze the data to facilitate timely payments.
The schedule for the process is as follows: submission and freezing of data from April 22, 2026 to May 6, 2026, and refreezing (in case of failed payments) from May 8, 2026 to May 15, 2026. Timely compliance is essential to ensure smooth disbursement of payments to exam centres and associated personnel.
